Traffic monitoring service Inrix says: "A38 The Parkway southbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident at A3064 (Weston Mill)." Google Maps also reports long delays along the St Budeaux bypass up to Camels Head in the city.
It comes as further chaos is reported at Milehouse after traffic signals at the Outland Road junction stopped working. Plymouth Highways said in a statement on social media: "The traffic signals at the Milehouse Road junction have failed. An engineer has been informed, approach with care."
