BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Ellie Leach has shared that she 'misses' her dance partner as she gets support from her Coronation Street friends. Ellie is now in a play called Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter.

Ellie, who is 23 years old, started acting on stage this year. She took over the role of Miss Scarlett at the last minute when Helen Flanagan pulled out.

On Tuesday evening (April 2), before her first show for people from her hometown, including many actors from Coronation Street, Ellie posted a photo from her dressing room. She wrote: "Manchester let's go." Ellie played Faye Windass on ITV's Corrie for more than ten years until she left in May last year. In her new photo, she looked very cool wearing a black top and a black and white leather jacket with jeans, reports the Manchester Evening News.

But Ellie went back to using Instagram and on Wednesday, she put up a picture of herself with her breakfast and coffee. She said: "Almond croissant and vanilla oat latte for the win...our daily ritual, miss you [Vito]." After her colleagues from Coronation Street came to see her perform at The Lowry in 'Cluedo 2',.

Colson Smith, who played her on-screen boyfriend Craig Tinker in Corrie, attended the press night on Tuesday (April 2) and shared his views on Instagram: "Last night I watched my best mate in her latest venture. She was amazing obviously and I miss working with her."

Charlotte Jordan was spotted arriving with Channique Sterling-Brown, who portrays solicitor Dee-Dee Bailey in Weatherfield. The duo smiled and posed for photos with their programmes. Channique, also known as Corrie's Dee-Dee Bailey, shared pictures with Ellie Leach after the show on Instagram.

The trio of Charlotte, Channique, and Ellie were joined by Lucy. Channique captioned the photo: "Congratulations to our girl @ellielouiseleach on her opening night in Manchester," alongside an emoji hiding its face crying and a red heart.
